Privacy

Akumaker3D handles your personal data with care. In this privacy statement you can read which data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. You can find our company details on the contact page.

What data do we process?

  • When you place an order: name, company name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, Chamber of Commerce and VAT number (business customers) and the details of your order and payment.
  • When you have an account: your login details, saved addresses, favourites and your order history.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address, your phone number if provided and the content of your message.
  • When you visit the webshop: technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view.

What do we use your data for?

  • Handling your order: confirmation, payment, delivery and invoicing.
  • Managing your account and answering your questions.
  • Assessing applications to order on account as a business.
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as the obligation to keep records for the tax authorities.
  • Improving and securing the webshop.

We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we only send you commercial emails if you have given your consent.

Who do we share your data with?

We only share your data when this is necessary to handle your order or when the law requires it:

  • Payment provider (Mollie) to process your payment.
  • Carriers to deliver your order.
  • Suppliers who deliver an order directly to you; they only receive the data they need for this.
  • Accounting and hosting: our accounting software and the parties that host our webshop and email.

We have made agreements with these parties about the protection of your data. We never sell your data to third parties.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep order and invoice data for seven years, as required by the tax authorities. We keep account data for as long as your account exists. We keep messages sent via the contact form for as long as necessary to handle your question. After that, we delete or anonymise the data.

Cookies

The webshop uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work, for example for your cart and to keep you logged in. No consent is required for these cookies. If we use cookies for statistics or marketing in the future, we will ask for your consent first.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The connection to the webshop is secured (https) and passwords are stored in encrypted form.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to the processing or ask for your data to be transferred. You can send a request via the contact page; we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
